Credit crunch 'will not ease for some time'
Individuals concerned about the effect of the ongoing economic slowdown have been warned that it will be "later rather than sooner" before the situation improves.
This comes from Fool.co.uk, which has stated that it is unlikely that the condition of financial markets will pick up in the near future.
Consumers have been advised by David Kuo, head of personal finance at the website, to prepare themselves for the year ahead.
In drawing a comparison between the forecasts of both the government and the IMF, Mr Kuo commented that "the British government seems to be reading a different set of figures" and advised people to assess their own situation.
Commenting on when he thought conditions in the UK will improve, he said: "I think it will be later rather than sooner."
The Bank of England decided yesterday (April 10th) that it would drop the UK base interest rate to five per cent.
